I have had a passion for photography for many years but when my youngest daughter started doing pageants, that's when I knew I had to take my photography one step further and started doing photos not only for her, but others also. From years of taking my daughter to photo shoots, it was apparent and sometimes disturbing to notice the photographers were always men and many times she and I would not feel comfortable around these men; and it showed in her photos. I came to the conclusion that when the parents are at ease with having a woman photographer , it shows in their children, and photographs come out better then they imagined.

I was associated with the pageant industry for over a decade and a half, and whether in the role of backstage Mom, Contestant, Pageant Director, Consultant or Judge, I know what people are looking for in good photos.
